Sheila and I look forward to welcoming you to
Jersey in October 2010 and particularly to the Hotel De
France which will be both the Conference Centre and the HQ
Hotel.
It is a great delight and privilege to have
our 80th Conference in Jersey firstly because it
is an important part of our District 1110 but also because
it is such a wonderful island to visit – treat it like a
holiday.
We have teamed up with Premier Travel who
you may remember looked after us so well when we last
visited the Channel Islands in 2006.They are offering a full
package of travel and accommodation to suite all tastes and
pockets although we hope that many of you will be attracted
by the idea of staying at the conference venue.
The theme of our conference is “Make a
Difference”. We feel sure that you will be inspired by the
people that you will meet and the Speakers you will hear,
and that you will take the theme back home to expand your
Rotary experience.
